It's so famtastic to see the children's creativity and concentration flow when they are already so familiar with art materials. This week, we made playdough and each child has its own way of working with it, and the better they know the material, the better they can manipulate it and make it work for what they want to achieve. The kids can work with this flexible material for a really long time.
Then, we moved on to watercolors and also there, the progress can be seen. The kids know how much water they want to use to achieve a specific tone and how they want their drawings to look like. They also used the pastels I introduced them to last week, because they mix beautifully with watercolors. It was a very artistic session this week!
