CONSTRUCTING COLORFUL SCULPTURES
Last week, we worked on three dimensional constructions with the styrofoam trays we always use for mixing paint (meat trays from the supermarket!). This time, we turned them upside down, and used all kinds of materials to build, rebuild and imagine: colored pipe cleaneners, beads, feathers and pins. This project is a lot of fun and included also fine motor skill- pressing the pins and pipe cleaners gently into the tray. In the end I gave the kids the beloved glitter glue to decorate their constructions even more.
