BOOK ART

You have probably found your kids scribble in a book before, which usually is not such a great idea! At the art chug this week it was allowed: I found a book with some torn pages and decided it was okay to tear other pages out for the children to draw on. So, today, we did "Book Art". The idea was to use many different drawing tools on the book pages. First, we used pens, then markers, then oil pastels and, finally, watercolor. Some were interested in mixing all the tools on one page, others prefered to use each on a different page. And some tried to mix the oil pastels with water to see the effect.

For the rest of the session, we prepared playdough and poured out the last energies of the day with rollers and shaking out a lot of glitter; all this with happily exchanging colors with the "art-partners".
