PAINTING FUN!

Since toddlers love to try out many things at once, this week I brought the Sweetpeaz group paint with all kinds of tools to paint with. First, they started off with fingerpainting and cookie cutters for printing. Then, we added baloons, cars and brushes. Doing art with kids this age is really all bout the process and not the final product, so I put out a large sheet of paper for a big group painting!

Squeezing out paint directly from the paint bottle "on my own"!

Finger, hands and also body painting is a great way to start getting know the material...

The kids all tried out the different tools, such as classic paintbrushes, cookie cutters that make great prints when dipped into paint and smashed onto the paper, cars to roll through the paint or directly on the color plate, and also trying out to walk with bare feet onto the paint! So much experimenting!

Then, we moved to the water bucket for washing off the paint and the tools, but mostly for water fun!

A close up of the group painting!
